After the fun and down-the-wire preparation for the short scene of 10 Months in a Cold Town that we showed at Candle Ends 2012, SNAFU has had to do rather a rapid about-face and head back into rehearsals for Murder at Warrobah House for its four nights at La Mama. Samantha Hill and I are getting used to the lonely pair we make in the rehearsal room, which we are trying to alleviate through kalesthenics and rolling around on the floor in general.
We have decided to go back to the original Melbourne script, as we really hacked at it for the Edinburgh run to keep it under time. Although that severe editing experience was extremely beneficial, as it made us realise what the story was really about.
